Jay Maughmer is a photographer and filmmaker currently studying at the Kansas City Art Institute. His work reflects the many inspirations of his life. Most recently he’s been focused on creating work that shows struggles of being queer and transgender in spaces such as the dance world and society itself. His visual work has been shown in various galleries, and someday he hopes to grow from 5’1” to at least 5’6”.
