Solstice Poem

Jesse Nathan's debut collection of poems, Eggtooth, won the New Writers Award, the Housatonic Book Prize, and the Kansas Book Award. His work appears in the New York Review of Books, The Paris Review, Poetry, and the I-70 Review. He was raised in northern California and rural Kansas, and now teaches literature at UC Berkeley. His book of short prose and interviews, called One Question, is out this spring from McSweeney's. His next book, The San Francisco Poem, will be published by Scribner in 2027.
